I never watch post episode interviews, but I really like Shii Ann so I tried to seek out her CBS interview. I found it. And now she has ruined the rest of Survivor: All Stars for me. Why? She basically tells you who the final two are going to be. I like to think that the remaining survivors are smart and will make a move, but after hearing her chitchat, I know that the final two will be Rob and Amber.
Shii Ann says that everybody is under a voodoo (economics) spell for Rob and they all think he has an alliance with them and it’s that belief that brings everybody down. Then she says that those two FOOLED (not ‘are fooling’) everybody. Normally I would let this comment slide as just talk, but now that Shii Ann is gone, I don’t see anybody else who can step up and win this thing. Not to mention, Shii Ann is on the jury and knows whom the final two will be. By saying that they blinded everybody leads me to believe that it’s Rob and Amber. Now, whom she votes for? That’s the question.
There are five left, great chance to stage a coup. Will it be done? I hope so. I really like the show and things need to be shaken up. Come on Rubert…do something. Damn that’s a good show.
Have I mentioned today how much I love my iPod? I use that thing everyday. I listen to it on the way to work, during lunch (replacing the Triplets), on my way home. I can’t get enough. I just put it on ’shuffle’ and it finds all the right songs. I now have 4GB of music on it. I’ve digitized 56 full albums and have enough music for 2.4 days (running continuously with out stops).
Have a nice weekend everybody. I am shooting to redesign my site this weekend.
Montez – out!

Weekend Wrap-Up
This was Diane’s Birthday weekend. Happy Birthday D!
I got a lot of ripping done this weekend. Every time I had a chance, I put a CD into the iMac and ripped it to my hard drive; 2GBs this weekend. Now I can start selling them. I also imported my contact info and sync’ed it with my iPod.
Side Note – the iPod has an address book and calendar so you can use it as a simple PDA. More proof that it’s the greatest thing in the world.
There is some confusion regarding the Montez Life Liquidation. I will be selling everything I don’t need to enjoy life. That means I have a lot of stuff I don’t need, or see, or use on a regular basis. Those things will be for sale. Everything else (iMac, iPod, Car, Clothes) will be sold or given away. I hope that clears things up. I’m not going Monk on anyone.
More proof that Boba will be taking over America by the end of the year. On Friday, Caroline, Kelly and I wanted something sweet to top off out dinner. As we drove through downtown Burbank, we found Boba-Loca. They opened up a location in the heart of Burbank. Just one small step in the war for teenage dollars. Another Boba location is now open right down the street from my house. I might check it out tonight.
That’s all for tonight…sleep well.

Today events begin at the 2004 World Series of Poker. No, not at 81st street, but at Binions Horeshoe Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. This month long event starts with a $500, Casino Employee’s Event and culminates with the Grandest of all poker games, the $10,000 buy-in, No Limit Hold ‘Em World Championship. This year, an estimated 1600 people will shell out the $10,000 buy-in for a chance to be named 2004 WSOP Champion and take home $3.25 million.
You can get your ass to your local card club and try to win a seat into the event, or head to Vegas on Saturday, May 22nd, at 1pm, with $10,000 (cash or credit card – I suggest American Express) and try your luck. As for me…I’m going to give the pros a break and wait till next year.

Happy birthday to a man who changed the face of Italian-Americans around the world. Tony Danza is 53 today. Who’s the Boss? Who cares, that was just great TV.
Got a lot of stuff done last night. Cleaned my room, watched some basketball, updated my iPod and charged the battery, put some new tunes on it, etc. Tonight, my goals are as follows:
- brainstorm for Jim
- bring a desk upstairs and move computer to it
- network computer
- rip some music
- put stereo, speakers, and subwoofer on craigslist
- put portfolio case on craigslist
- put coffee tables on craigslist
- put DVD’s on craigslist
- take cloths to goodwill donation center
- take magazines to library
- watch both episodes of “24″
- watch basketball
Entertainment news: They are re-releasing Donnie Darko in the theaters sometime in July. It will have 20 minutes of more “stuff”. I’ve been listening to KCRW at work, I feel smarter, more informed. Weird.
Got to get my fat ass back in the gym…but I’m not putting that on my list.

So today is the holy day for pot smokers (what up Neil, what up Gabe). 4-20! Not like pot smokers need a reason, but today seems to be a good reason. Today is to pot what 3/17 is to drinking.
Also, 4-20 is the birthday of one of the greatest generals in the history of the world. This man not only helped to destroy those who do evil, his message lives on in the hearts of many. His name instills fear into the hearts of evildoers everywhere. So a big happy birthday to Hitler; you are missed. May you words and works be carried out by future generations.
What were you doing five years ago today? If you were attending class at Columbine High School, I bet you were running for cover. While the world watched, two members of the trench coat mafia shot up a high school. Now that’s reality TV. This one kid even jumped out a second story window, good times. Top that Mark Bernett. The real tragedy, Marilyn Manson had to cancel a concert. Man, those fans got screwed.
Happy 4/20 everybody, smoke if you got um.
