The Apple rumor mill is abuzz. Today’s fav…new Apple Displays. They mirror the look of the G5. I hope this rumor is true, because they look sweet.
This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend. That means that I will be chilling at the house in PJ’s, playing video games.
The house will be empty. Jon in Vegas; Toby in the white water rapids; Brian in Hawaii (with Kelly, so no Kelly), and Eugenus chilling with me at the house. I will be working in Burbank on Monday, but other than that, my weekend is wide open. Rip CD’s, Rip. I think I will take some CD’s to MobyDisc or someplace else that buys used CD’s. If you are interested in buying any of my used CD’s, here is a list of my used CD’s currently available.

Last nigh I say the greatest show on earth. Thirty-five year olds drinking in the car in the parking lot. What a sight. I was at the GW Forum waiting for the Madonna: Reinvention Tour to begin.
The crowd was late, but amped nonetheless. This would be my second date with the Material Girl (I saw her perform at Staples Center in 2001). The lights go down, silence, the show begins.
WOW…what an amazing show. Video screens and circus performers, it’s like MTV on crack. I was truly blown away by the multimedia aspects. They were jaw dropping. Everything just worked. The visuals they choose to put to the music were off the wall, but still made sense. It wasn’t crazy or spastic at all.
She also reinvented (see, I used the tour title, very creative) some of her classics. Express Yourself was a little more techno, Burning Up was a total rock song, Deeper and Deeper was a bit of a ballad, Like a Prayer and Holiday were jazzed up super-club mixes.
It was a great show. I would call it the greatest concert I have ever been to (and I’ve seen Matthew Hinojosa live as well as some folk singer named Lisa). Yes, it was even better than Nine Inch Nails – Downward Spiral.
All that being said, I now wait for Nine Inch Nails and Trent Reznor to gather they creative juice and plan a new tour using the latest technology. That would be an awesome show.

The material girl is feeling ill. So tonight I get to watch the Lakers and 24. I think it worked out best for everybody.
I booked my flight to Las Vegas for the bachelor party. Round trip : $80. Thank you Southwest.com.
I think and hope, hope, hope that I finally fixed Caroline’s computer last night. Also, the cable modem has been installed in Burbank; along with electricity.
Caroline is a great cookyum!

So, somebody asked me how to determine if it’s a good time to buy an Apple (computer). One thing you can do is check the various Apple rumor sites. Several are dead on and other are just dead. My personal favorites are MacRumors.com and MacCentral. Also, MacRumors has a “Buyers Guide” which tells you if you should buy or wait. A very good resource.
If you are in the market for a used Apple, check out EveryMac.com. They are the ‘Kelly Blue Book’ of Apple products. Use this to make sure you don’t overpay or undervalue stuff on eBay or Craigslist.org.
So hurry up and buy that new or used Mac and spread the word on Apple love.
One more thing, the WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) is in June. Expect product upgrades at that time.

So I woke up this morning wondering what happened at WSOP over the weekend. I logged onto PokerPages.com to check it out. Poker has become very popular. Last year there were 836 players. This year 2576 people will try to win the $5 million dollar first place prize. Not bad for a weeks work.
